Domain Mapping - Sub directory to Domain

Hi,
I have no success in domain mapping on a subdirectory Multisite install.
Right now there is a redirect from http://www.kompetenzenbilanz.at to https://www.helene-cuenod.com/kompetenzenbilanz
What I want is to keep http://www.kompetenzenbilanz.at in the browser field. Is mapping possible with subdirectories or does it only work on subdomain installs?
Thanks for you help!

    Hey there Spotstone Agency !
Hope you are having a great day!

I'm sorry to hear about the issue that you encountered. Domain Mapping is absolutely possible with subdirectory multisite installations. Could you please send us temporary access credentials to your WordPress Dashboard and File System (cPanel/FTP) so that we can take a closer look at the installation to see what's going on? You can send that privately through our secure contact form: https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/#i-have-a-different-question

    Send in:

    Subject: "Attn: Nahid Mohit"
    - WordPress Admin Username
    - WordPress Admin password
    - Login URL
    - FTP/cPanel Credentials (host/username/password)
    - Link back to this thread for reference
    - Any other relevant URLs

We'll be looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Nahid

    Hello Emmanuel

I hope you are doing well!

Looks like the subsite /kompetenzenbilanz/ is set as your primary WordPress site. I am afraid the Domain Mapping plugin is not created to map a primary site. To make it load with http://www.kompetenzenbilanz.at, I am afraid you may need to use the WordPress native domain mapping. From your network admin, please go to Sites > All Sites, edit the primary site and open Settings tab:

Please edit the Siteurl and Home, add http://www.kompetenzenbilanz.at URL and save chnages.

Otherwise, please make another site as primary WordPress and try to map the subdirectory one more time.

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
