    Greetings glennyboy

well sir it seems you have forgone a very important thing in Multi Site installation if in fact it is a Multi Site Installation.

If I remember correctly WP advises you to use only the root domain without the www when getting this all setup. If not it is certainly well documented.

So the very first thing you need to do now is set your WPMS site to have just the root of the domain in which if it no longer appears in the settings needs to be changed in the wp-config.php file and any references to it in the Database.

In addition, do not forget to refresh the permalinks after you have completed the change and everything should start working including your www as anticipated

    Hi Guys

OK so resolved the www vs http for Network – and this was a good tip. Although having followed instructions on Domain Mapping I still can’t get this to work on a domain with Advanced DNS. Just waiting for the opportunity to do the same via my hosting with DNS delegation to see if that works.

Currently the mapped domain points to Apache main holding page – so any tips welcome.
