Domain Mapping, wp-admin non existent, multi-site, confused!

I'm probably missing something ridiculously simple...but.
Running a multisite - no problems thus far creating subdomains from
within my super admin on wordpress. So I have domain.com and
sub1.domain.com.
Just transferred clientdomain.com to my hosting service. Am using WP
Integration with WHMCS, WP Provisioning and Domain Mapping.
Wordpress added clientdomain.com and mapped domain to
clientdomain.com. However I can't view the dashboard of
clientdomain.com. I'm also using the New Blog Template plugin and am
looking forward to using the template created on sub1.domain.com to
clientdomain.com.
As I said, I'm sure I'm missing something but just can't figure it
out.
Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi there,

I'm not sure what this means:

Wordpress added clientdomain.com and mapped domain to
    clientdomain.com.

Do you mean that on your domain.com, you now have a subsite1, clientdomain.domain.com which is mapped to clientdomain.com? If you wanted to try something like you suggested, you would need the MultiDomain plugin.

Looking forward to helping you with this.

    Cheers,
    Paul

That was correct when I first began this issue. Now I can't even get anything mapped.
But, yes client.domain.com mapped to clientdomain.com.
Another plugin is needed? What does it do that these others don't? Can I not simply uncomment the line in Domain Mapping Plugin that says:
// UnComment out the line below to allow multiple domain mappings per blog
    //define('DOMAINMAPPING_ALLOWMULTI', 'yes');
    Still can't get to clientdomain.com dashboard...says clientdomain.com/wp-admin doesn't exist.
    Thanks

Ok, well with Domain Mapping, let's take it slowly. The first thing is, with your clarification, we can throw out the need for the other plugin I was thinking about. What we need to do is check that client.domain.com exists. I see that registration is disabled, but your Wildcard domain is working. Here are some things to confirm:

    • Can you see the subsite's frontend?
    • In your Network admin, do you have Mapped Domain set for administration?
    • Since the client domain is in your hosting, is it parked on your domain that has the multisite?

Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes.

    Cheers,
    Paul
