Edit the wordpress loop, so the posts are ordered by most votes.

Hello!

I've got a question about the amazing WPMU Vote plugin
I was wondering of there is a way to edit the standard wordpress loop with have_posts() so the posts shown will be ordered by most votes (ASC or DESC).

My apologies, I'm indeed referring to the Post Voting Plugin.

A little bit more info:
i've tried to make a custom query with wp_query. But it seems you can't make a "inner join". The custom query i've tried to make is based on the query i've found in class_wpdv_model.php

$sql = "SELECT *, SUM(vote) as total FROM " .
$this->db->base_prefix . "wdpv_post_votes LEFT JOIN " .
$this->db->prefix . "posts ON " . $this->db->prefix . "posts.ID=" .	$this->db->base_prefix . "wdpv_post_votes.post_id " .
"WHERE site_id={$site_id} AND blog_id={$blog_id} " .
 (
   $posted_timeframe ?
   "AND post_date > '{$start_date}' AND post_date < '{$end_date}' "		: ''
 ) .
 (
   $voted_timeframe ?
   "AND date > '{$voted_start_date}' AND date < '{$voted_end_date}' "
   : ''
 ) .
"GROUP BY post_id " .
"ORDER BY total DESC " .
"LIMIT {$limit}";

My team at http://www.recognize.net found a solution ourself. We made the query:

SELECT DISTINCT *, IF(pwpv.ID IS NOT NULL, SUM(pwpv.vote), 0) AS total FROM posts pp LEFT JOIN wdpv_post_votes pwpv ON pwpv.post_id = pp.ID WHERE pp.post_type = 'post' AND pp.post_status = 'publish' GROUP BY pp.ID ORDER BY total DESC

Then we made an Array of the output and inserted it in "The Loop". We hope you guys like our solution!
