Embed Woocommerce payment method in third party site?

Hi
I’m trying to figure out a solution for a client. They embed a donation method in their site, powered by Gocardless :
https://commonweal.scot/about/donate
We’re exploring changing this over to a Woocommerce-based option, which would be run on a different web site, and so my question is do you know if it’s possible to repeat this embed method for the shopping cart process?
Thanks, Neil.

    Hi Neil McEvoy ,

Hope you are doing good today.

I’m afraid, it’ll require custom coding or using a plugin which supports Gocardless to implement this via WooCommerce.

Unless I haven’t missed it, I couldn’t find any free plugins which support GoCardless. Could Only find the following one:
    https://woocommerce.com/products/gocardless/

Other than that, if you are opting for custom coding you can check our Partners page for “Codeable” services:

    Hi Nithin

Sorry you misunderstand the question. All I mean is can you embed the Woocommerce shopping cart in another web site?

If you visit the client web site, you’ll see Gocardless obviously provides some kind of embed script code, my question is can you do the same with Woocommerce?

Btw there are Gocardless / Wooc integrations, but that’s not the question.

    Many thanks, Neil.

    Hi Neil McEvoy ,

I think it’s just a simple form the web developer has built which then redirects off to the payment options.

However, just adding a redirect won’t help with WooCommerce record or track the purchase details. If that’s fine, then yes using embed code might help. But it might still require some custom coding depending upon how the embed code works.

Other than that, if you want to ensure all the purchase details are recorded in the WooCommerce plugin side then you’ll to use Gocardless / WooCommerce plugin integrations.

I hope it’s clear now. Please advise if you still have any further query.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin
