Enable user posting from front-end by using Status Plugin

I am looking for a solution in order to enable the user to post from front-end. Specifically, my requirement is as follows.

All logged in users must have their own page (i.e. a WordPress Post) and like in Facebook they can post from front-end to their own page only.

I read the Status plugin can do something like that, however, I am not able to make it work that way. I have installed Status and I see the Status settings. I am able to use it from the Dashboard but I don’t see how I could have this mechanism to work from a user’s WordPress Post. I was looking for a shortcode to use but I couldn’t find any information related.

Can somebody help me with that?

    Hey Nick,

Hope you’re doing well today

I’m afraid that Status plugin is not capable of something like that, the plugin will allow all users with publishing capability to post quick posts and all posts will be published as standard post, there’s no option to have separate query for each user.

Since you’re looking for something similar to social networks you may want to check out BuddyPress plugin.

    Best regards,
