Error 404 on Multisite

I have created a multisite but my second site shows an error 404 when trying to view the dashboard.
Let me know if you need logins for the wordpress admin and Cpanel.

    Hello there Simon

It seems that even though you are using a subdomain multisite, you didn’t have the proper DNS setting in place, so subsites couldn’t resolve to an IP and finally, via WP, to a subsite.

I’ve fixed that by adding a wildcard subdomain in the cPanel

which automatically created the following DNS record

I can already see that the propagation has begun, please allow a couple of hours to complete and check if subsites are working good now.

    Looking forward to your results,
    Dimitris

When I originally tried to create the wildcard subdomain, it was using my domain as the document root.

By default, the cPanel will create a new folder and point the wildcard subdomain in there.
I just had to check in which path the primary domain points and use that instead.

    Take care,
    Dimitris
