    Hey yournexthost.

    Error establishing a database connection

Is usually an issue with your database connection. Can you check the MySQL server, is it on the same server? Same rack? Same DC? Remotely?

Is it now a permanent error?

If so then you will want to check the credentials used.

Any plugins which play with the database connection in some way?

The best way to test is deactivate all plugins. If you don't have access then simply rename your plugins directory to something random, this will deactivate all plugins. Just change it back when ready.

    Thanks.
