Events Cannot seem to identify 30 minutes and feature request

Ok, I am on 3.4.1 (Single Site) and the latest Events+
I am doing a recurring event and setting the "Event Duration ____ Hours"
I am trying to set "2.5"
The script cannot seem to identify the 1/2 hour it simply gives it a 2 hour time frame.

FEATURE: (If it doesn't exist yet and I missed it??)
Different categories of events have different colors when displaying on calendar (All my colors are the same? Not very good for those of us with more than 1 type of event. XD

    Hey James,

Regarding the event duration, yes I see it too. It shows 1.5 (which is what I tried with) but in the instance of the event, its only 1 hour. I will let the developer know regarding this.

Colours for categories, is definitely a feature request. We do not have it right now.

The event duration could be fixed very soon, since its more or less like a bug. The second half, lets see.

    Thanks Gina,

However, I have moved onto a free calendar plugin that has everything I needed and more. Sorry, but the site had to be finished and I'm not taking any money for the events (they are all free events). Anyway, the calendar I added to my Wordpress has tons of features that are useful. Maybe the author should have a peek at it just to get an idea of options and setup. It took 3 seconds to setup and did not require 1/2 the steps to configure and it looks/functions very very well. I do hope he gets this one going though. Now just waiting on those new themes..................

    Hi James

Thank you for your feedback. Appreciate it very much.

Any chance you can share a link to the free calendar plugin with us? It might be useful to other members that's also looking for a simplified calendar approach.

Have a great day and all the best with your project!
