Events+ RSVP user created via Twitter has non-existent email address

I have Events+ installed on a test site and set up a test event that does not require payment to attend. I enabled the option that lets visitors log in via Facebook and Twitter. Facebook works fine.
The problem with Twitter is that for the user that is created, a non-existent email address is saved to their profile in the format firstname_lastname@twitter.jefffaq.com. There is no other identifying way to contact a person who RSVPs using Twitter.
Perhaps as soon as they are logged in with Twitter, you can ask them for their email address?
