Existing Posts and Pages in Upfront

Given all the backend warnings, I'm confused about what happens to EXISTING posts/pages if I switch to an Upfront theme.

The tutorial shows adding NEW posts/pages from within the Upfront editing area and the existing pages warn not to change the default page. So how does that formatting work?

I have completed the set of tutorials, but I'm still unclear about this.

    Hi @ProSapien,

    Hope you're doing well today!

It will depend the formatting that you have. If you are referring text formatting (Bold, Italic, Unordered Lists, Alignments, Blockquotes, etc ), Upfront will respect those styles and will adjust then in the this_post element (the element that import all the content created in the WordPress editor). But naturally, the font size, colors, etc, will be replaced by the ones used by Upfront (as happens when we change the theme).

But some styles can be loosed. It's possible that you may need to adjust the existing pages to correct some issues.

I hope this information has been helpful. If I can help you in this or other questions, please let me know!

    Cheers, Luís
