Export orders needed in Marketpress asap please!

Hey there, updating from this string:

Client at http://dearhandmadelife.com recently upgraded to Marketpress 3, and we didn’t discover until the whole thing was done that there was no more export orders button. This is a huge deal for her, as they use it at the end of each month to pay their vendors.

Please return this functionality to the plugin asap!

    Hello Steph,

As you can see here Tylor already answered your question https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/exporting-orders-to-csv-file#post-997150 – because of other issues the import/export feature is delay and we can’t give any ETA on this.

However you could try using WP All Export plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/ (its free) – it will allow you to export orders to CVS file – in Step one of new export you choose Order, and in step two fields you want to export from the Custom fileds (like payment time, order total etc).

    kind regards,

Thanks Kasia, but the formatting of the csv that plugin produced when I tested just now will not be suitable for client's needs at all. See attached. It adds all kinds of extra code the client is going to have to go through and strip before being able to even use the data.

Looking forward to actual Marketpress export of orders very soon.

I am simply going to repeat my question here, since I accidentally commented on an older thread here. Tyler Postle closed the thread before I could respond, and said I could use the WP CSV plugin, but that is not a solution, since it just returns serialized, nearly unusable strings (as also noted in this thread). That would be more work than just manually counting out order details.

We don’t have a workable beta on this at the moment as the add-on is still parked. However, since the MP orders are built on a post type you can use this plugin to export them in the meantime: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-csv/

I need to do a lot of manual post-sale processing, and having a way to cleanly export the orders would save me many hours of work. I really don’t understand why this wasn’t a priority in the 3.0 release, and how you would expect people to not need this functionality. Please bring this back; I for one will not be able to continue using this otherwise excellent plugin without an export function. Please do not close this thread.

    Hi Alex

Hope you had a wonderful day.

Thanks a lot for letting us know you concern. So I’m not closing this thread and I’m moving it to our “Features and Feedback” section. The more users liking this idea, the more chances our developers will include this feature in our future releases.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
