Exporting & Matching Up Corresponding Info From Two On-Site Forms.

I’m afraid I have a rather in depth question:

Our company (CNCMachines.Net) is making an effort to help the manufacturing facilities that have had to suspend production due to Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Texas, USA. We developed TOPMFR.com for the manufacturing shops that have been crippled by the hurricane’s path of destruction. Basically, the site will provide these shops the means to request help from shops elsewhere in the USA with the filling of their customer’s work orders.

My question is: what process or plugin would you recommend that would allow the info submitted on each form (see links below) to be automatically exported to a database where each set of info would be compared so shops that need help can be correctly matched with the shops that can handle and/or provide the kind of services requested.

Please let me know if additional clarification of the situation is necessary.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Thank you,

Matthew Mullins

    Hi Matthew,

    Hope you are well today.

I see that on your site you use two form plugins:

    1. Pirate forms on main page

    2. WPForms on requesting help and providing help

Most form plugins send data directly to email and additionally saves the data in the database.

I understand that you want to compare the data from these two pages:

From experience I know that Contact Form 7 has add-on called “Contact Form 7 Database”. But that does not solve the problem.

    I found two plugins:

I don’t see if there is a compare option. Even if you find a plugin that will in some way solve your problem I’m convinced that you will need an additional developer’s work on that to fit it properly to your request.

As a person who works with programmers, from experience I know what questions they may ask:

    – Can data from the first form can match to many data in the second form? And vice versa?

    – Do we want to store this data in the database only for us? Do we want to show this to registered users on the site?

    – And many others…

I hope I understood your question well and was able to answer it in some way.

    Hi Kris,

Thanks for your reply and all the helpful info. Especially about knowing what kind of questions a developer might ask. The Custom Searchable Plugin is extremely helpful as it allows us to let users search a database of info that we will build with the form submissions. Although I’m sure we’ll have to hire outside development this is a great start down the right path!

    Thanks again,
