    Hi Rebecca,

So sorry to hear the inconvenience you are having. This is really weird and should not happen. I tried to regenerate this on my test site but I could not. So I think this is your site specific issue.

Just to make sure no other plugin is conflicting in any way and causing this, can you please do a plugin conflict test? To know more about plugin conflict test, you can check this guide: http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/using-wpmu-dev/getting-support/

If plugin conflict doesn’t provide any valuable insight regarding the issue, then I will need to check your site configuration. I could tell you better about the issue if I could see it live, check your current configuration and make some tests on your site. Would you mind allowing Support Access so we can have a closer look at this?

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

    http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/wpmu-dev-dashboard-enabling-staff-login/

Please confirm here when you are done granting Support Access. I’m looking forward to hearing from you and resolving this issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

    Rupok

    Hi Rebecca,

Hope you are doing good today.

Thank you for enabling support access, I checked your system, and I could see the issue. I tried switching to the default WordPress visual Editor, to rule out any issues with Visual Composer, but the issue still exists.

So this seems to be more of a conflict in your system, did you perform plugin conflict test, as mentioned by Rupok? Is this a live site? Is it okay, if I could disable the plugins, and see how that goes in your system? I would also like to switch to a default WordPress theme to test this extensively.

Please do let us know whether you are comfortable with us performing conflict test by disabling the plugins, so that we could help get you sorted asap. Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi Nithin,

Is there any other way of testing this as the site is live. If the issue is the theme, I won’t want to change my theme. I don’t mind if you disable the plugins as long as I don’t loose any saved information. However, I would rather not revert back to a default theme.

    Thanks,

    Rebecca

    Hi Rebecca,

Hope you are doing good today.

I do understand it’s a live site, switching to a default theme, should eliminate that whether it’s a theme specific issue, or not. You have over 40+ plugins active in your system, so disabling the plugins can be a long process in your live site.

Is there any other way of testing this as the site is live.

Yes, the other way would be setting up a staging website. If you think performing these conflict test is gonna loose your saved settings, then for a safer side, could you please setup a staging website on which we could test this extensively, so that you don’t have to worry about settings being lost.

Please check the following article about staging website:

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/testing-environment-wordpress/

You could use a plugin like Duplicator, to perform this:

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/guide-to-migrating-localhost-wordpress-to-live-site/

Please let us know how you want us to troubleshoot this, and we’ll make sure to get back to you asap. Have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Nithin
