Feature Request: Custom draggable elements

Hello Upfront team,

We are currently playing around with Upfront builder. One feature that is missing for us is the ability to add custom draggable elements. There has been a number of support requests for them in the past:
https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/upfront-custom-draggable-element
https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/upfront-custom-draggable-elements

I would like to see this feature implemented in the feature, as it will make things for the end-user much easier than using shortcodes or widgets. I know that there is always the possibility to do custom development, but we would like to keep the ability to update Upfront and I am afraid that it's not all possible just using hooked actions.

Thanks,

Raf

    Hello Raf,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

That sounds like a good idea. One of the feature requests that you linked to relates to Upfront (parent theme, not Upfront Builder plugin) so even though these are based on the same engine that would be a bit different case but the second one is for Upfront Builder so please feel free to give it a vote as well there.

I have also moved this thread to our "Features and Feedback" forum so other Members would be able to support that idea. I'm not able to give you any promise or ETA on the implementation since we are currently focusing mostly on compatibility issues with more and more popular plugins but certainly that sounds like a handy feature so I hope our developers will consider adding it to the plugin in future.

    Have a great day!
    Adam
