Hear me out
In the past I worked on a large "multi-forum" network built on phpBB. We managed many forums and would occasionally need to make an update to each of them.
There was a text-box for pasting in SQL queries where the query would run on each forum (site/blog) in the network in manageable batches.
This would be extremely useful for managing network wide changes. Simply figure out the query to make what you want to happen on a single test site, then if it works you can run it on all sites. This has virtually unlimited implications.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
PS: If you have any suggestions on other ways to do this (perhaps less elegantly), I am all ears.
