Featured Image link isn't working on Non-Admin "Add Event" page

So I’ve searched and searched on this site as well as other sites around the web to try and locate the issue my users are having on my BuddyPress site. When they attempt to add a new event, they can add everything accept a featured image. The Featured Image link is there, but when clicked nothing happens. I’ve checked all the settings available and went through all the documentation. I’ve found old tutorials on here that had me overwrite some files while using WP Front Page (I have WP Front Page Pro as well). Nothing seems to be working. I even set all the Capabilities in the Events+ settings page to make sure that that wasn’t the issue. Can someone please help me resolve this? This is far too much of an issue that doesn’t seem to ever get resolved on these forums.
