flux rss for comparator

Hi all,

Here is my first post on WPMU DEV and i’m glad to be a member since few days.

So, i already have a first question for you.

I need to to transmit a rss flux to a comparator site, but this flux doesn’t give them the price of my products.

And, I don’t know how resolve this problem.

Could you help me ?

I use WP 3.4.2 with woocommerce ?

Is there a specific flux in woocommerce what I don’t see ?

Thank you so much for your help

    Hiya @jakols,

First off, welcome to WPMU DEV!

I’m not sure about “flux”. Perhaps you mean specific feed item? If price isn’t included in the RSS feed then it won’t pull into the comparator site.

Do you have a link to the original feed? we should be able to tell from that. I’m not sure whether woocommerce provides the price in the feed or not, but you should be able to ask them here:

Let us know how else we can help. Thanks!

    Hello Mason,

First off, welcome to WPMU DEV!

    Thanks !!!

    I sent this flux

apparently, the prices are not displayed.

During my searches, I found this :

for WC, we can add “/feed/?post_type=product” to the domain

but the prices don’t seems to appear either.

I posted on the WC support. I’m waiting and hope .

    Thank you for your help

    Hello Mason,

Yes I had a response a few days ago but with the end of the year …

In fact, no response on the support of WP.org.

So I asked to the woo’s staff.

And they told me that, if their plugin for Google merchant don’t answer to my request, I had to ask for the creation of a new plugin.

But effectively this is not the plugin I need.

I’d like to find the rss file that lists all the products but I do not see it O_o

If I could find it, I’ll try with hooks although I’m not an expert.

I think there must be 3 or 4 lines of code just to add prices and sales prices.

If you have an idea …

    Thank you for your message.

And I wish you an Happy New Year … if I don’t read you before !

Well, I can’t tell ya how to add the prices and sale prices for WooCommerce, but here’s an article for how to make it work with custom post types. As products are just custom post types this information should be relevant though will require some custom development:

Hope this helps. Thanks and happy new year to you as well

Thank NAME, for their help.
