Follow up on developer access re: BuddyPress Community

Hi there, my apologies in advance for what may be double posting, but in response to this thread - https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/theme-interaction-with-rtmedia-some-layout-issues#post-955149 - I have enabled developer access to my site as of Sept 3. I am uncertain what that exposes me to and I don't know for sure that the thread is being responded to, so I'm simply trying to ascertain if I should hold the dev access open indefinitely or if there's a different way I'm supposed to seek support. Sorry, first time support user, just trying to do it the right way.
