footer covered by sidebar 2015 theme

footer gets half / hidden with 2015 theme - the sidebar overlaps the footer content saved in ultimate branding.. how to handle this?

    Hey @djsteve,

    Twenty Fifteen theme is a bit specif because of that sidebar, and UB places the footer as last element in body tag and #page element is going above it because of that.

    If you want to keep the current width of the UB footer and getting it to show above the sidebar then adding this CSS should work:

    #ub_global_footer_content {
    	position: relative;
    }

    If you're not using child theme then you can use plugin like this one for additional CSS https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

    If you however want to get the UB footer to be smaller and fit just below the copyright section we will need to use some jquery in that case to move it around.
    If you're using child theme just add this code to your functions.php file:

    function move_ub_footer() { ?>
    	<script type="text/javascript">
    	jQuery( document ).ready(function() {
    		jQuery( "#ub_global_footer_content" ).addClass( "site-footer" )
    		jQuery("#ub_global_footer_content") .appendTo("#page");
    	});
    	</script>
    <?php }
    add_action( 'wp_footer', 'move_ub_footer' );

    If you don't use child theme then download the attached file, unzip it and place it in your wp-content/mu-plugins/ folder. If you don't have such folder simply create one yourself.

    Let us know if these solutions work for you :slight_smile:

    Best regards,
    Predrag
