Q1:
I enter the text like this: http://ScrnSht.com/jqtcel
And it shows up without paragraph breaks, like this: http://ScrnSht.com/ghcpzm

Questions/Ideas:
1) Was this intentional? If yes, why? If yes, can there be a setting to say yes/no?

Q2:
If I enter a listing category description (seen here: http://ScrnSht.com/ufnlgt ), why wouldn't it display on the category listing page (seen here: http://ScrnSht.com/wdxvyl )?

    Clifford,

    Hi there!

    I did a quick test post and it seems that is how the text wraps by design.

    The easiest, and best, way for you to get around this is by creating custom fields for each of those pieces of additonal information that you are trying to add to your listing. You can use our CustomPress pluign to do that :slight_smile:

    The formatting in the text box is controlled by Wordpress, not the plugin.

    Or, you can apply a class to it by entering this in the HTML portion of the text editor:
    <br class="spacer" />

    Your description not displaying is a function of your theme. Some support the display and some don't.

    Hope this helps!

    Kimberly

    Greetings Clifford,

    1) Was this intentional? If yes, why? If yes, can there be a setting to say yes/no?

    I do not think this was intentional but believe that the editor is stripping out your paragraph breaks but not sure. Try adding in right after the HD Video and more! in html mode </br></br> and see if that does not drop the paragraph down to how it should look.

    Please advise if this works for you one way or the other.

    Q2:
    If I enter a listing category description (seen here: http://ScrnSht.com/ufnlgt ), why wouldn't it display on the category listing page (seen here: http://ScrnSht.com/wdxvyl )?

    Are you referring to the fact that your included category description is not included on the category page?

    Please advise on this perspective too.

    Cheers, Joe :slight_smile:

    @KimberlyL
    I think I posted the same question here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/creating-taxonomies-in-custompress-and-categories-in-directory
    Sorry for the duplicate. Still need an answer though. Thanks.

    @aecnu
    1) I have confirmed that <br/><br/> or <p>...</p> tags do work (although I didn't switch back to visual editor mode). I just did the Preview, not Publish.
    2) Correct. @KimberlyL seems to think it's not specific to the Directory plugin but instead a piece of my theme. I have to admit that I don't really want the Category's description to be posted all over the site, just for Directory's category descriptions.
