How I can set Forminator Role Capabilities, by snippets

    Hello F404

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

Currently Forminator doesn’t provide such granular control over access. The only capability that would give access would be “manage_options” capability which is usually only used for admins (and super-admins on Multisite). Granting that capability to any user role would give these users much more access than Forminator only.

This is “hard coded” in the plugin though so there’s no easy workaround for this other than either very extensive changes in plugin’s code or actually granting the “manage_options” capability to user roles (though it’s a security risk) and then using some additional tool (such as e.g. Admin Menu Editor) to limit access to restricted back-end areas again.

However, we already have “user permissions” feature on the “to do” list for future. Once implemented, it will let you grant users access to forms/polls etc so they could create/edit them. It’s planned feature though. I don’t have an ETA but it is expected to be implemented in future.

    Kind regards,
