Fundraising plugin not working as it claims. No HTML in email notification - thank you message

This plugin is not doing as it claims it will do. The email confirmation does not display HTML code links, the thank you confirmation does not allow HTML form code. We would like to link to our merchant processor hosted payment page. This flow is not very intuitive. Also is there a way to not display the fundraising total?

All we want to do is collect donor information on our WP site and payment information on our processor gateway hosted payment page via a link in the confirmation page and email.

    Hello MSAMike,

    The email confirmation does not display HTML code links

    Yes, confirmation email doesn't support HTML tags only Thank you message allows for them.

    But you should be able to place form code when using manual payment - you can enable them in settings of Fundraising - it doesn't strip form tags.

    We would like to link to our merchant processor hosted payment page. This flow is not very intuitive.

    Fundraising was created to work with PayPal or manual payments not other custom payment gateways, so implementing new gateway this require some custom coding.

    Also is there a way to not display the fundraising total?

    You can use following CSS to hide totals:

    .wdf_amount_raised {display: none;}

    You can
    a) add it to the child theme style.css file
    b) use this small plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

    All we want to do is collect donor information on our WP site and payment information on our processor gateway hosted payment page via a link in the confirmation page and email.

    Currently it's not possible to get additional donar information out of the box without custom coding.

    There is already a feature request created for this feature on the following thread and this feature may be added in future version of plugin but We don't publish ETAs to prevent disappointment if a deadline is missed(which in plugin development quite a frequent occurrence!).
