Fundraising Plugin: Template Confusion

I am a little confused by this template system:

There are 3 types of templates you can create.

Template Hierarchy

Single Fundraiser

wdf_funder-{ID}.php

wdf_funder-{slug}.php

wdf_funder.php

Fundraiser Checkout

wdf_checkout-{ID}.php

wdf_checkout-{slug}.php

wdf_checkout.php

Fundraiser Confirmation Page

wdf_confirm-{ID}.php

wdf_confirm-{slug}.php

wdf_confirm.php

When I created wdf_funder.php for my single fundraiser page “/fundraiser/name-of-fundraiser”, it also became the archive display for “/fundraiser”. I corrected this by creating archive-funder.php with success and was able to list my fundraisers (still needing to figure out how to only show the current and future fundraisers and not past fundraisers – Link Here)

Maybe something similar to this:

<?php                                               $datekey = '???????';
query_posts(array(
'post_type' => 'funder',
'posts_per_page' => -1,
'orderby' => 'meta_value_num',
'order'=>'ASC',
'meta_key' => $datekey,
'meta_query' => array(array(
'relation'=> 'AND',
array(
'key' => $datekey,
'value' => date('Y-m-d',strtotime("today")+(360*60*60*24)),
'compare' => '<=',
'type' => 'DATE'
),
array(
'key' => $datekey,
'value' => date('Y-m-d',strtotime("today")),
'compare' => '>=',
'type' => 'DATE'
)
))
));
?>

and place that code just before this:

<?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

I then created a single-funder.php for my single fundraiser page template and when using the_content(), it displays the complete panel for the fundraiser. If I enter a pledge, it takes me to a confirmation/check-out page and then a thank you page. Are the wdf_checkout.php and wdf_confirm.php the template files I need to create for customizing the checkout and thank you pages? What functions would I use to put into those templates to call the checkout form and the thank you page? For now, it uses my single-funder.php as the template file, as long as I use the_content(), to do the checkout and thank you/confirmation.
