Getting a 403

I tried two different ways to understand it best for my users. Added as a parked domain on my account. That worked fine.

Then I tried a sample site ( had my hosting company not assign it to my account (like a user not having a hosting account). It does not work.

In reading the post, it mentions that I must have a dedicated IP. Is this why it is not working?

Thanks for the help!

    Hiya eric,

If you’re on a shared server you definitely need a dedicated IP. Also, you should be able to park multiple domains on the same hosting account. I’m not sure how you’re hosting account added the domain, but you’ll want to make sure it’s “parked” and not an “add on” domain.

Let us know if you’re still stumped on it after taking those two steps!

Thanks. I am on shared so ordered the Dedi IP. Will give it a couple days to resolved. I am mostly making sure I can sent people who want to use the mapping to a domain provider that will park it for them only costing them the price of the domain. Want to find a single one that I recommend that I can give an easy ‘how to’ and also collect commission on the domain sales.

Was just test driving it, which is why I did not park the extra domain with my main account with them.

Need to get off of shared hosting…
