giving incentive to a affiliate to refer a new blog in the network

Dear Friends,

I wish to run a affiliate program where i wish to give a incentive or commission to a affliate who refers a new blog in the network.

Is there a way to track a affilliate at the time of blog registration

One of the ways i am thinking to do is to place a Banner (or a text link) on a already created blog on the network which would redirect to "new blog registration page" with the affiliate id embedded in the link.

Would it be possible pls advse

best regards

    Hi Srinivas,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I think you can achieve this as above but not sure about this therefore i have notified my colleague @Michael Bissett to get his valuable reply here regarding this.

    He will reply here ASAP.

You will find more information about this plugin on the following pages.

Hey @Srinivas Peesapaty, my apologies for the extreme delay here! :slight_frown:

    To answer your question:

I would think it possible, but this would be something that would require custom development presently. With the add-ons available inside of Affiliates (for products like MarketPress, Membership Pro, etc.), those would not only allow the tracking of actions inside of those plugins (e.g. product purchases, membership signups), but they would also allow for the assigning a commission to an affiliate as well.

For this, I would want to post a job for this on our Jobs Board, and have one of our Pros there develop a solution for you:

    Kind Regards,
    Michael

P.S. One option you may wish to consider (as I see you have Pro Sites installed on your network), would be to allow affiliate commissions for Pro Site upgrades by enabling the Pro Sites add-on inside of Affiliates.
