global multisite menu

Im using gridmarket and want to know the best way to have a global menu on all my sites (multisite). Just one standard menu for everyone, as users have no need to custormize their own menu.

Hiya!

I believe to do this you would need to have a custom plugin that is network activated with something like the following;
```
function my_nav_menu_filter( $menu ) {

// your filter code

return $menu

}

add_filter('wp_nav_menu','my_nav_menu_filter');
```
I believe that *should* override the nav menu in your themes (if they use the appropriate menus feature.

I haven’t tested this so can’t be sure of it.

@dfstorm That’s where you’d want to put your menu so that when that function returns $menu it spits out an actual menu.

If you’re not familiar with PHP I’d suggest hiring a developer. This simple job should take only half an hour at the very most.
