I've been using wget to trigger my WordPress-based scheduled activities, but I woke up this morning to find more than 100 wget processes still resident in memory, not having quit after triggering the cron.
The server also died. Not sure they're related.
Anyway, I figured it might simplify things just to let WordPress manage it. I can code in my own cron scheduling hooks, but I'd rather a nice UI was available on the off chance that I screw it up (which could be what's going wrong with the stuck-in-resident wgets above).
So, any really sweet cron management plugins out there? I found one that will tell you what WP crons are enabled, but it doesn't add any capability to control things.
