Google Analytics on Multisite

I network activavated the GA+ plugin, logged into my G account, and set up a tracking code for the main site. I choose option for network wide tracking.

But in the subsites, the settings>GA still has login page and asks for a tracking code, i thought the whole ideas was that this was not necessary.

    Hello Phil

This is intended behavior. Your subsite admin might be someone other than you, and he might want to track his subsite. That's why the option is still available for subsites.

And just to clarify, the setting "Allow site admins to overwrite this setting:" in network admin screen is only for "Minimum role or capability to view Google Analytics Statistics inside WordPress Dashboard" part, not for the entire GA settings

Hope it helps! Please feel free to ask more questions if you have any.

    Have a nice day!
