Google hit customising

Hey there,
I was just wondering, if you know how to make your google hit, display specified pages under the domain name. I hope this image illustrates, better than I can articulate in words.

Is it a site-map document that does this?
How can I achieve this?
I don't mind learning how to write the document, in order to do this. I would also like to learn if a plugin can streamline this process.

Thank you for your time,
Yours sincerely,

James

    Hi James,

Thanks for asking. These suggested links below the main result are called "Sitelinks".

This is what Google says about Sitelinks:

We only show sitelinks for results when we think they'll be useful to the user. If the structure of your site doesn't allow our algorithms to find good sitelinks, or we don't think that the sitelinks for your site are relevant for the user's query, we won't show them.

At the moment, sitelinks are automated. We're always working to improve our sitelinks algorithms, and we may incorporate webmaster input in the future. There are best practices you can follow, however, to improve the quality of your sitelinks. For example, for your site's internal links, make sure you use anchor text and alt text that's informative, compact, and avoids repetition.

So I don't think there is a way for doing this manually. What you can do best is, do SEO for your site so Google thinks that your site needs Sitelinks to be shown.

I believe, these will help. Please let us know if you have any confusion or any further query. We will be glad to help.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
