[Google Maps] Google Maps Pro and Gutenberg

We are contacting you from New York University regarding a plugin for WordPress that is developed by you and is being used in our institution’s multisite environment.

We will be adding the Gutenberg editor and with that, some of the plugins might get redundant or incompatible. We want to know your plan to make your plugin ready for Gutenberg. https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenberg/.

If you able to give any future plan or timeline about this it would be great.

Thank you,
Web Publishing Team, NYU

      Hello Scott Nicholl

      I hope you're well today!

Our Google Maps plugin includes a Gutenberg block already. To add a map to the post when using Gutenberg editor, add a new block and select "Google Maps Pro" from "Widgets" blocks.

This will add the block and you should see "Add Map" button there in editor to select map to be added to post.

If this is not working for you, it would mean that there's some additional issue involved - some sort of a conflict specific to your setup or similar issue. In such case please create a separate ticket on our forum or visit our support live chat and we'll investigate it for you to make it work.

      Kind regards,

Thank NAME, for their help.
