Group Email Options Not Holding Settings

I originally set all my Forums to default of All Mail (in Manage -> Settings).

Tonight I noticed that the Women Only default has changed to No Mail. Then I noticed a few others were also No Mail so I started changing them to All Mail but when I got to Daytona Beach Forum I changed it to All Mail but when I Save it, it reverts back to No Mail.

How do I make the default for all my Forums to be All Mail and keep that setting please.

    Now I am not even able to Join Group. I tried to Join Women Only and it just keeps coming back to Join Group.

    Also, my default page has always been the Forum page, not the group page as per functions.php code given a while ago. It no longer works.

    /* Redirect to Forum after Join Group. */

    function bpfr_custom_group_default_tab($default_tab){
    /**
    * class_exists() is recommanded to avoid problems during updates
    * or when Groups Component is deactivated
    */
    if ( class_exists( 'BP_Group_Extension' ) ) : //

    $group=groups_get_current_group();//get the current group

    if(empty($group))
    return $default_tab;

    switch($group->slug){

    case 'XYZ': // group name (slug format)
    $default_tab='forum';
    break;

    case 'another-group': // another group
    $default_tab='members'; // goes on a different tab
    break;

    // case etc, etc...

    default:
    $default_tab='home';// the default landing tab
    break;

    }

    return $default_tab;

    endif; // class end
    }
    add_filter('bp_groups_default_extension','bpfr_custom_group_default_tab');

    Hi @Mary,

    I hope had been good today!

    I think the options you describe in the original topic comes from the BuddyPress Group Email Subscription plugin and not from our BuddyPress Group Email plugin, right?

    Regarding to the redirection to the Forum page, have you tried this solution?

    https://buddypress.org/support/topic/how-can-i-redirect-to-forum-group-instead-of-home-group-from-widgets/

    I hope this information has been helpful. If I can help you in this or other questions, please let me know!

    Cheers, Luís

    Hi @Mary,

    I hope had been good today!

    The Plugin you select to this topic "BuddyPress Group Email" allows you to send emails to all the members in a group.

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/buddypress-group-email/

    The plugin you are using to set the default notifications is BuddyPress Group Email Subscription:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-group-email-subscription/

    I searched for similar issues, but I was unable to find any related. Maybe can be some kind of conflict. Have you tried a plugin conflict to see if any plugin is conflicting?

    Cheers, Luís
