Gzip is not working for JS and CSS

Gzip is not working for javascript and CSS. It is showing that Gzip is not working properly:

- Your server may not have the "deflate" module enabled (mod_deflate for Apache, ngx_http_gzip_module for NGINX).
- Contact your host. If deflate is enabled, ask why all .htaccess or nginx.conf compression rules are not being applied.

If re-checking and restarting does not resolve, please check with your host or open a support ticket with us.

But it is on. Please help.

    Hello Dali,

I hope you are well today.

Hummingbird GZIP Compression page should auto-detect your server type (Apache, nginx, IIS, IIS7, LiteSpeed) and provide you the necessary steps that have to be made.
In case of Apache server, Hummingbird can write the .htaccess rules or you can do it manually

In case of nginx, you need some server access or simple contact your hosting provider support channel if you can't edit the aforementioned config files

Finally, please double check the followings (again you may need to contact your hosting provider for these steps):
    1. check if there's a Varnish cache running on server (or any other server-side caching solution) and make sure to purge/empty it
    2. make sure that PHP is configured to support zlib library and that zlib output support is enabled; there's a php.ini setting for this that should be set to "on":
    zlib.output_compression = On
In case it's set to "off" you will want to change it to "on" and restart Apache
    3. there's also a slight chance that not all required MIME types are set to be handled by "mod_deflate" module; it should support at least "text/html", "text/javascript" and "text/css"

    Hello dali,

I hope you are well today

I have checked .htaccess file and compare it with GZip rules which are correct.
I have also checked the GZIP is enabled and working fine using this link https://checkgzipcompression.com but HummingBird can't see it.
Plugin conflict test has been already check during the chat, it should be the same bug that's already reported. it seems that HummingBird can't correctly see that GZIP status for HTML files. Our developers are working on it. if there's any new insights about it, we will update you here.
