Having trouble setting up the Domain Mapping on Multisite

I have a multisite at puaar.com. I have created another blog at puaar.com/ardenmarquee and i want to point ardenmarquee.co.uk to this new blog site.
I have followed the instructions and it doesn't seem to be working.
I have also pointed my nameservers to my multisite blog server with a domain add-on and redirect. Still doesn't seem to be working.
Do you have any ideas? Im pretty new to multisite.

    Greetings indypuaar,

    Welcome to WPMU Dev!

I have also pointed my nameservers to my multisite blog server with a domain add-on and redirect.

All that should have been pointed to your MultiSite IP address for the desired domain is an "A" record.

Does your hosting server have its own Name Servers?

    ardenmarquee.co.uk points to 204.197.242.25

    puaar.com points to 204.197.242.25

Is the IP 204.197.242.25 a dedicated or shared IP?

After checking on the ardenmarquee.co.uk IP and DNS records I found massive records as if it is installed as a web site on the server rather then just an "A" record as the instructions clearly state shoudl be.

In addition, I found that it is on the main server shared IP and not a dedicated IP.

    Reverse IP: 71 websites use this address. (examples: 14thdistrictdems.org adcobrunei.net artmondial.nl autoexpertsbrunei.com)

If any of these 71 sites on this single IP have WordPress on them they could be causing issues.

So this MultiSite project has many issues in which any or all of them could be causing the problem.

From what I can tell in an effort to fix this is that the first step would be to remove the created web site for the domain ardenmarquee.co.uk completely from the hosting server --> Not puaar.com, this should remain as it is completely untouched.

Then the hosting servers DNS should have only an "A" record for ardenmarquee.co.uk pointing at the IP 204.197.242.25

This may or may not fix this due to the fact of the possible other 71 sites on this IP interfering with the domain name resolution, but we will not know until we try.

Please advise of your progress getting this going.

    Cheers, Joe

    Greetings indypuaar,

Just checking if this issue was eventually resolved in another thread? Or by yourself separately to us? Or by us over email with you? Or using our live support?

If so, no need to reply, that's great news.

If not, or you have any more questions related to this thread, please feel free to post them below including any new symptoms or errors and tick the 'Mark as Not Resolved (re-open)' box below the post area (or else we'll miss it!)
