HELP! All Template dashboards pointing to root dashboard and mini-sites getting 404

up until yesterday this was my mini-site based on a New Blog Template and it was working great!

http://nwogear.com/shop/nwotemplate/

Now there's a Page not found error and if I try to get to it's dashboard, it redirects me to the root dashboard.

Here's what's changed:
1. I cancelled my membership to this forum (it stops today)
2. I launched the new site pointing http://www.nwogear.com to the new http://www.nwogear.com/shop - through a 301 permanement redirect at godaddy
3. I no longer have Site URL or Wordpress URL settings displaying in the General Settings area of my site.

I don't have to stay a paying member to have my plugins work do I?

    Hey there.

I don't have to stay a paying member to have my plugins work do I?

    No you don't.

The only plugins where need to be a member in order to take full advantage off is the "Anti-Splog" which connects into the WPMU Dev Api. But you can still use most of its features without being a member. And the videos.

    3. I no longer have Site URL or Wordpress URL settings displaying in the General Settings area of my site.

I'm not fully sure what you mean here? Did you change some URLs for the site?

Most often 404 errors point to an issue with the permalinks.

Can you see any errors in your logs? You may also wish to check there are no theme and plugin conflicts by disabling all plugins and reverting back to the default "Twenty Eleven" theme. If the issue clears up then reactivate one at a time until the problem happens again. This will help find the cause if it is a conflict.

Please let us know how you get on.

    Thank you -
I didn't intend to make any URL changes. As far as I can tell by looking on the wp-config file, as well as the functions.php file in the theme and the htaccess, they are all the same as they were before yesterday. What gone is if I login to the dashboard (http://www.nwogear.com/shop/wp-admin) and go to Settings, the main page there (General Settings) it no longer shows Site URL and Wordpress URL (these are typically on this page as form fields)

What I did do however was on the installation of Wordpress in the root directory (the old site) was change the Site URL to http://www.nwogear.com/shop. This screwed up my ability to actually get back in to the dashboard of the old site's wordpress, so I went to the DB and changed it back. Now I can get into the old site's dashboard, and I do see the Wordpress URL and Site URL settings in Settings. But not on the newly live site's wordpress install that sits in the /shop/ directory.

I can't change themes at the moment because we just took this site live yesterday and I think there's a big push to get people there... Maybe I will try this tonight, but I don't think it will help.... I'm thinking some URL setting got changed by accident yesterday. I just don't know exactly where to look...

I can still create a New Site thank god and it's picking up the Blog Template from the dropdown. It's that I can't get to the Blog Template Dashboard and I don't see my URL settings in the main/admin Settings page. Oh god, have I totally confused you?
