Help to remove Fontawesome stylesheet.

I already had Fontawesome 5 Pro (licensed) and I need this version. The “Directory” Plugin also has a Fontawesome 5 (free) included.

I want to get rid of it, without editing the plugin files, they roll out updates every 2 days.

Fontawesome 5 Pro is here

/fonts/fontawesomepro/css/all.min.css

Fontawesome 5 free is here (served by Plugin)

/wp-content/plugins/directories/assets/vendor/css/fontawesome.min.css

Please check and help to remove the free one.

The following code should work.

add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'remove_fa_default_stylesheet', 20 );

function remove_fa_default_stylesheet() {

wp_dequeue_style( 'drts-fontawesome' );

wp_deregister_style( 'drts-fontawesome' );

}

I have added the code as mu-plugins. Please check now and let me know.

Hi Ash, this was the first thing, Abdul from Support suggestet. As you can see here: /baumzaehlerseiten/

the free fontawesome still remains. It is no caching issue … :slight_frown: any idea?

I visit “/baumzaehlerseiten/” url but fontawesome.min.css does not exist in page source.

Please clear cache in Hummingbird and in your browser. Possibly some cache on your side :slight_smile:
