We are conducting an audit of our WordPress multisite implementation, which has over 400 sites. I'm referring to the default "/wp-admin/network/sites.php" view.
My initial assumption was that the sites list defaulted to ordering by site ID#, but we are finding that isn't the case... even on the first page of the list, the ordering is ID's 1, 2, 8, 7, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12.
Is there a query parameter we can use to force the sorting to be by ID#, or is there some logic to the default ordering? It's not based on path, last updated date, or registered date as far as I can tell.
