How can I create a menu to use as part of my template that will generate links based on new sites/blogs created throughout a network?
Example: I have an About Us page. I want a menu item that will keep the user inside the same site they started out in if they click on that menu item.
Right now, the menu item URL is /about-dsn. This menu item was created inside the /alabama network in the dashboard of the site /alabama/template.
When I load http://dsnamerica.com/alabama/template/ and click on About DSN in the top menu, it leads me back to the global main site and uses the page there. So it leads me back to http://dsnamerica.com/about-dsn rather than taking me to http://dsnamerica.com/alabama/template/about-dsn (this is where I want it to go).
I don't want to use http://dsnamerica.com/alabama/template/about-dsn as the URL for the menu item because I want to use this menu as a template so that when I make a site called Montgomery High School (/montgomeryhs), and using New Blog Templates plugin, the menu should be created and copied over to /montgomeryhs in a way that if a user clicks the About DSN link it should take them to http://dsnamerica.com/alabama/montgomeryhs/about-dsn
and not http://dsnamerica.com/about-dsn
Is all that clear as mud?
Thanks for the help
