How can I format the automated emails sent for appointments?

I formatted the automated emails sent for made & cancelled appts, and reminder emails.

The emails sent have no formatting though.
Other than using HTML emails, is there a way to set formatting?

    I hope you're well today!

    Once you have enabled the Allow HTML emails addon in Appointments+, you can format the email contents manually using any HTML you like.

    There is no visual editor for those settings though, as the entries are made in a simple custom field in the plugin settings rather than a post editor (like when creating a post/page on your site).

    For example, formatting the default email like this:

    Dear CLIENT,
    
    <h3>We are pleased to confirm your appointment for SITE_NAME.</h3>
    <p>
    Here are the appointment details:
    
    <ul>
    <li>Requested service: SERVICE</li>
    <li>Date and time: DATE_TIME</li>
    </ul>
    SERVICE_PROVIDER will assist you for this service.
    </p>
    <p>
    Kind regards,
    <h5>SITE_NAME</h5>
    <p>

    ...would produce an email received like the screenshot below:
