How do I add local gateway?

How do I add local gateway to Pro Sites?

Thx.

    Hi @kim_ryu_hyun

    An easy way for me that I have done is to create a Buy Now button or Subscription button and add those buttons manually to the checkout page.

    Of course they need to send you proof of payment so that you could set their subscriptions in the Pro site dashboard. Normally I add a 10 free subscription cause of the time it takes, so they don't mind, and I must say it's working like a charm.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks

    Hi @kim_ryu_hyun

    Could you share some expample code on how you create a Buy Now button or Subscription button and add those buttons manually to the checkout page?

    Here a simple coding that I just quickly created at Paypal

    https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_singleitem-intro-outside

    `
    <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_xclick">
    <input type="hidden" name="business" value="your@email.com">
    <input type="hidden" name="lc" value="US">
    <input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Product Name">
    <input type="hidden" name="amount" value="10.00">
    <input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="USD">
    <input type="hidden" name="button_subtype" value="services">
    <input type="hidden" name="no_note" value="0">
    <input type="hidden" name="bn" value="PP-BuyNowBF:btn_buynowCC_LG.gif:NonHostedGuest">
    <input type="image" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_buynowCC_LG.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!">
    <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1">
    </form>
    `

    The code differs from online cash systems like PayPal, AlertPay, PayFast and many other systems.

    And yes, you could add this code to any of your pages cause it's html compatible.

    Just to elaborate on my question:

    Where do you create the buy button on? One the following page?
    http://yourdomain.com/pro-site/?bid=3

    If so, where do you take it to next? Your checkout page? How do you create your checkout page? Just like your normal page? With what information on it?

    For this I customized it so that at one stage I had myself confused, lol
    Here is what I've done:

    I've edit my http://yourdomain.com/pro-site/ page making a perfect sales page that sells itself and also adding my html Buy Now or Subscription buttons to the page. And within the page I also create a table with pricing and also since the Pro Sites Plugin original table of pricing shows how the user saves money a month, It makes it even sell better.

    A request to the the WPMUDEV team, please add a option where users can add the self generated code in the Pro Sites settings so that it could display under the 'Manual Payment' See Screenshot below . Or even add more well known payment systems.

    Thanks

    So now when the user clicked on the self generated button and makes the payment they are taken to special page that is created with different url every time the page is requested (but you can make just a normal static page preferably that is not easily remembered or cannot be thought out and make sure you do not link to that page otherwise it will end up in Google's search results as it happened to me once, lol)

    They are asked then to send proof of payment to a certain email and then from their I must manually appoint the Pro Site level to the user.

    I hope that I have explained it well to you, It has been working for me and I hope it will work for you as well.

    If you need any more assistance please let me know.

    Thanks

    Hello Ryu,

    Greetings and thanks for re-opening the thread as the issue was unresolved.

    I see that there is a great discussion going on here.

    I am trying to setup manual gateway working, why do I need to setup PayPal button?

    That is a valid question as if you are going to process a manual payment, you do not need a button to do that.

    @Ryu : I have a question here, are you trying to use the Manual Payment gateway along with PayPal or you would just be using a Manual Payment option ?

    If required I would try and take advice from our prosite experts so that I can get all the help required for you.

    Please advise

    Cheers

    Hiya

    Thanks for writing back

    Can you direct me to some documentation or instruction on how I could use Manual gateway to receive local money transfer?

    Are you looking to just show the information of local money transfer (i.e. your bank account info) so that the clients can transfer money to you and then you can manually activate their prosites ? Or Are you looking to integrate an API so that they can use your site to transfer money using the manual gateway and the site would be provisioned automatically ?

    What I personally do with a particular set of clients I have, I ask them to transfer money to my bank account and raise a support ticket with the transaction reference number and I manually activate their account.

    Please advise.

    Cheers

    Hi PC,

    I'm looking to just show the information of local money transfer (i.e. your bank account info) so that the clients can transfer money to you and then you can manually activate their prosites for now.

    I want to set prosites up so that all 4 levels are paid levels and you get 14 day trial when you signup. During the trial if the customer try to upgrade to paid level, it now points to followng url:
    http://yourdomain.com/pro-site/?bid=3

    The problem is I do not want to show the default price grid but wan to show my own pricing table with bank information. How can I do this? And BTW what is transaction reference number and how can you locate that number in pro sites?

    Thx. Ryu

    Hi Ryu,

    Greetings !

    sorry for the delay

    I created a demo with manual payments and it appears as the screenshot (did not style it too much due to time constraints)

    I'm looking to just show the information of local money transfer (i.e. your bank account info) so that the clients can transfer money to you and then you can manually activate their prosites for now.

    That is what I am displaying there.

    I want to set prosites up so that all 4 levels are paid levels and you get 14 day trial when you signup. During the trial if the customer try to upgrade to paid level, it now points to followng url:
    http://yourdomain.com/pro-site/?bid=3

    That is how it works... You do not need to create a free level but you can choose that during the trial, which level would they be assigned to.

    The problem is I do not want to show the default price grid but wan to show my own pricing table with bank information. How can I do this?

    That is something which would require a custom job and you would need a developer assistance as the grid is automatically created by the Plugin itself and I am also using the same. You may check out the WPMU JOBS section to see if you can get someone to do that for you.

    And BTW what is transaction reference number and how can you locate that number in pro sites?

    That is something which the users can get from the Bank after the deposit so that you can identify it off your bank statement (How would you validate that they have paid ?) as simple as that...

    Prosites, can only get your a transaction reference if you are using automated payments and not manual payments.

    Please feel free to ask if you have more questions.

    Cheers

    @Ryu : You would for sure be naming the plans and the price would differ so that you can uniquely identify what did you customer pay for. That is the only problem with the manual payments.

    I would have mentioned the same in the instruction field stating

    Hello, please make sure that you include the plan name and duration in the email you send us with the payment information

    As bmwijaya suggested above, you can have them fill a form on the website and they can choose what they paid for and it would come to you :slight_smile:

    Please advise if that was helpful

    Cheers
