How do I extract a single site from a multisite install?

I have a website on web.dccf.org.uk that is part of a multisite install on dccf.org.uk that is sick. I need to move it to a single install on web.dccf.org.uk with a different host. I have a lot of plug-ins and I don't want to have to manually reinstall them and guess the correct configuration of them all.

Any ideas?

    Hi James Bayley,

Thanks for asking. You can use our Snapshot Pro plugin to create a backup of your specific subsite and then restore it on the single site. You will get full usage guide of this plugin here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/snapshot/#product-usage

Moreover, this blog article will also help you in understanding how you can do this: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/easy-migration-snapshot/

Regarding plugins and configuration, I'm not sure if it's possible to get everything as it is in the multisite because when a plugin is installed in a multisite environment, it creates database tables according to the multisite structure. But multisite database table structure and single site database table structure are not same. However, this process will save you lots of hassles for sure.

I believe this will help. Please let us know if you have any confusion or any further query. We will be glad to help.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
    Rupok
