How Do I Make The Sidebar Background Colour Stretch the Full Height of the Page?

Hi,

I am trying to make the colour I have added behind the sidebar stretch the full height of the box it is in - from just below the navbar down to the footer. At the minute it is only stretching as far as the text and then it stops?

Is there some .css I can use to change this?

My site is at 4.biz.

    hi damian
    there's no way to strech the div unless make the body 100% height in the beginning and
    optimize couple of static css...but still there's a more simple css hack to your theme.

    make the blue bg and images and add this to css

    #featured-post-section {
    background: #fff url(imagelink/blue-line.png) repeat-y top right;
    }

    now when the div #featured-post-section strech the sidebar blue bg will strech also..more simple
    this way that using 100% body height css.

    cheers

    Is that the faux-columns that I have read about?

    I have tried that but couldn't get it to work. The exact code I have entered is as follows:

    #featured-post-section{
    background: #fff url(http://4.biz/wp-content/themes/bp-magazine/_inc/images/background_repeat_image.jpg) repeat-y top-right;
    padding: 20px 0px;
    margin: 10px 0px 0px 0px;
    }

    This isn't working - I know I have probably done something really simple wrong, but I am a novice with css so your help is massively appreciated!

    the top-right should be top right

    #featured-post-section{
    background: #fff url(http://4.biz/wp-content/themes/bp-magazine/_inc/images/background_repeat_image.jpg) repeat-y top right;
    padding: 20px 0px;
    margin: 10px 0px 0px 0px;
    }

    try it again ok and see if its work
