How do I manipulate field placement with Cusotmpress

So I now have custom fields which (mostly) work and output their data into a published page using custompress. I have some questions related to how this works.

1. I have two test listings set up. One outputs the Location data just fine and the other does not. Why woud that be? Both pages have data entered, though they are different locations.

2. The single-whatever.php file contains the following code:

<?php

get_template_part( 'loop', 'properties' );
?>

That is what picks up the standard page content, right? And then the custompress fields go below of above this...wherever you want but not intermingled with the standard page content. But what if I wanted to have the content placed on the page in a way that would require splitting up the standard page content, Is there a way to do that?

For example if I wanted to have some an image, followed by description both using the standard editor, then a google map aligned right with a custom press field lining up with that on the right.

Then at th bottom of the page a nextgen gallery.

So that requires a bit of mixing and matching of customepress fields and standard content. Can it be done?

    Hiya!

    1. I have two test listings set up. One outputs the Location data just fine and the other does not. Why woud that be? Both pages have data entered, though they are different locations.

    Have you checked that the location is correct? Try it by searching for it in Google itself...

    2. Honestly it sounds like you should be doing this within the visual editor. I'm not sure why you would need to use custom fields to do this as it seems like a long-winded way of doing something that can be accomplished in the editor.

    Maybe I am missing the point of custompress? I am trying to use it to set up a admin window so that a non-webby user can input fields and not have to worry about where things will go or how they will look.

    Ideally all the info contained on the output page would be entered via a custom field and all the user would have to do would be to drop data into the fields or upload via a csv uploader. But because their is no choice for an image field or a wysiwyg field then I have to use the editor to put in some content.

    Perhaps a different WPMU Dev plugin would be more suited to this?
