How do we set the colors for Private Chat windows?

We looked everywhere, but cannot figure it out - so your help is greatly appreciated:

in the linked picture, which is the request for a private chat, where do we set the colors for the Accept / Decline buttons?

they are very hard to read, and non of the settings seem to affect them.

If there is also a way to change the dark blue color, it would be nice to know that as well.

Thank you!

    Hey @Scaffies, hope you're doing well today! :slight_smile:

    If you were to insert the following into a plugin like Simple Custom CSS:

    /* For changing the button color */
    button.wpmudev-chat-invite-accept, button.wpmudev-chat-invite-declined {
        background: #717171;
    /* For changing the background color of the invite window */
    .wpmudev-chat-module.wpmudev-chat-module-invite-prompt {
        background: #FFFFFF;

    That would allow you to change the colors for both of those. :slight_smile:

    Let me know if this helps please!

    Kind Regards,

    Hey @Scaffies,

    I hope you're well today!

    Just install the plugin named "Simple Custom CSS" by going to the

    "Plugins" -> "Add New" page

    in your dashboard. Type "Simple Custom CSS" in the search box (top-right of the page), press "Enter" and click "Install Now" next to the box with plugin's description. (see sccss1.png). On the "Installing Plugin: Simple Custom CSS" page click "Activate Plugin" link.

    After the plugin is installed go to:

    "Appearance" -> "Custom CSS" page, paste the Michael's code into the text box and click "Update Custom CSS" button (see sccss2.png)

    That's pretty much all, now you should have the fix up-and-running.

    If you have more questions, please ask, I'll be glad to help.

    Thank you Adam and Micheal!

    This worked BEAUTIFULLY ... the bottons are now very readable.

    I apologize and feel a little stupid for not being so knowledgable about the implementation via the Simple CSS - and VERY MUCH appreciate the detailed instructions you, Adam, provided. From that point on it was a breeze, worked on the first time, and now it looks awesome! (and I learned something for the next time).

    Thanks again. I gave as many thumbs-up and points as it would allow me!
    Thanks also on behalf of a 300,000-strong community able to use your product :slight_smile:
