How do you edit pathway to menu item (events) when incorrect?

on industrynetwork.net.au when you click on Events menu item you get Nothing found message. This has only just happened was working fine previously (events still appear on a vertical slider).
If hover mouse above Events menu item you see http://www.industrynetwork.net.au/events/events/ Extra events in pathway seems to be problem. If I manually type just http://www.industrynetwork.net.au/events/ I see events.
Where do you edit path to remove extra "events"?

    Hi @Trevor,

Thanks for posting on the forums and granting me support staff access.

I checked your site admin area and found you have created events term in events category and added it in the header navigation menu as a menu item which resulted in displaying not found error message as similarities in the slugs.

I have created custom menu link item having URL pointing to http://www.industrynetwork.net.au/events/ and added it in your navigation menu replacing existing one. Now it works fine.

I suggest you to change the slug of events term in the events category other than events to resolve conflict.

    Cheers,

The url http://www.industrynetwork.net.au/events/ actually brings up the blogs/posts (Home Page) not the Events. It was my mistake (too long looking at PC screens) telling you this url brought up Events. Later learned that when this site was created it was the intention to have an Events category called Events for Events. So http://www.industrynetwork.net.au/events/events/ was actually correct and working previously.
See what you say about changing the slug of events term in the events category to other than events, but was this only because I had mistakenly indicated to you I thought events/events/ was a problem (was working previously) ?
So I've had to delete your custom Events Menu and recreate previous Events Menu but I'm still left with original problem that clicking on Events Menu item gives Nothing found message.
I notice when I click on Events Archive I get Blog Archive. May be connected to when you setup custom Events Menu. But if you can correct this, might this solve the problem ??

I have already tried other themes (including 2013) but makes no difference.
On your suggestion of changing slug term, I did to industry-events but doesn't fix.

However it caused a previously created Page for using the Events Calendar option to appear (had ditched idea of a calendar previously because there seemed to be conflicts, but now conflicts don't seem to be occurring).
Main problem with calendar though seems to be it's slightly too wide for where it's meant too fit (only part of far right Saturday column appears. There is a left and right column that has vertical sliders with ads etc in and these need to remain. If change settings to widen calendar, you lose view of the 2 columns with vertical sliders
Can a CSS edit of Events Calendar be done to change settings eg padding, tables to slightly increase width of calendar and allow Saturday to be viewed ?
If so how do you do this ?
Events Calendar page is at http://www.industrynetwork.net.au/events/
