How do you remove the Upfront branding so that I can use my own?

    Hi Vishan,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    How do you remove the Upfront branding so that I can use my own?

    If I'm not mistaken, you meant the Upfront branding in your admin bar?. If yes, one of the easiest way would be to use the Ultimate Branding plugin.

    Once you activate the plugin, enable the Custom Admin Bar module under Branding > Admin bar, you can then add the your new Parent Menu as desired with your own branding.

    #wp-admin-bar-upfront-edit_layout {
      display: none;
    }

    Please add the following css in Admin Bar CSS style, to remove the default Upfront menu.

    I hope this helps. Have a nice day. :slight_smile:

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Vishan,

    There is no out of the box and easy way to do that I'm afraid. Still you can use Ultimate branding to add CSS that will change Upfront logo and Upfront text to your own.
    1) Enable Text change module in Ultimate Branding and replace word "Upfront" with your brand

    2) Enable Admin Bar module and add CSS

    #wpadminbar .upfront-edit_layout .ab-icon::before, .toplevel_page_upfront .dashicons-admin-generic::before,
    .theme-overlay .parent-theme {display: none;}

    #wpadminbar > #wp-toolbar > #wp-admin-bar-root-default .ab-icon{
        height: 23px;
        width: 22px;
        background: url('http://pathtoyourimage.png') 0 0 no-repeat;
    }
    .toplevel_page_upfront .dashicons-admin-generic {
      background: url('http://pathtoyourimage.png') 0 0 no-repeat;
    }

    3) Enable Header Content module and add this code - this will change Upfront logo in editor

    <style>
    #sidebar-ui .upfront-logo {background: url('http://pathyouoreimage.png') 0 0 no-repeat !important;}
    </style>

    Remember to replace http://pathyouoreimage.png with path to your logo

    4) Last step it to change thumbs to themes in Themes - you will need to prepare new images and name them screenshot.png and then upload them to each of the Upfront directories in wp-content/themes - you will need to use FTP access and replace orginal files. With this you have to remember that you will need to do that after every update of themes.

    Let me know if you still need any further assistance here

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hi Vishan,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    Meanwhile can you explain how to populate new pre-done designs into a gallery after reusing themes?

    I'm afraid, I'm not able to understand your question, could you please explain further about your exact needs? Is it about using Upfront's gallery? You can check this link on how Upfront gallery works. If you are looking for a gallery other than the default one, you'll have to make use of a plugin, and insert the shortcode using the 'text' in widget element.

    Please advise if I'm missing anything, so that we could help get this resolved asap. :slight_smile:

    Hi Vish,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    You can make use of the New Blog Template plugin, where you can provide options to select a customized template for the websites to be created. Please do note that the subsite templates created shouldn't be used as a website, as it's purpose is to provide a template base. You can find more details about the plugin in the product usage page: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/new-blog-template/#product-usage

    The plugin comes with options such as categorize your templates, display as a showcase ie you could select a page to display all your templates, you can find that under, Blog Templates>Settings. Along with Pro Sites plugin you can create a network of site with premium services.

    Please let us know if you need any further help. Have a nice day. :slight_smile:

    Hi Vish,

    Hope you are doing good today. :slight_smile:

    After the templates are made will they be able to use Upfront editors to make changes to the template?

    Yes ofcourse. What this plugin does is assign subsite as a template, and when an user registers, a website is created based on these templates. New websites created has the option to inherit post, page, plugins, and current theme of the template site. Upfront editors will work smoothly.

    Also do you have a full user guide on how to set up and configure each of your plugins?

    Every plugin page has a product usage section, where you could find instructions on how to setup your plugins. If you still have any issues configuring the plugins, you can always ask through our support forum, we are here to help. :slight_smile:

    I hope this helps. Have a nice day. :slight_smile:
