How to add custom fields on registration page

What is the simplest way to add custom fields to my site's registration field. I would like to be able to add an "address" field, "what division" among others. Also, is it possible to have 2-3 different registration forms based upon the type of membership the user is signing up for.

    Hello TapThat,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

The simplest way to add custom fields to the Membership 2 Pro registration form is to use it together with BuddyPress plugin (that adds some nice community features to the site):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress/

BuddyPress includes Extended Profile Fields (User Profile Fields) feature that let you create any number and kind of profile fields. Enablin the "Profile Fields" add-on in Membership 2 Pro plugin will let you select which of these fields should be used on registration form.

There's no native way to use multiple different registration forms though so the form would need to be the same. If you need to use different forms, you might want to use a 3rd party plugin for registration - such as e.g. Gravity Forms with user registraton extension - and create multiple forms there then use a custom developed code based on Gravity Forms and Membership 2 Pro APIs to "tie them together".

In case you needed such a solution to be developed for you, you may want to post a question on our "Jobs & Pros" job board here (please note: no WPMU DEV staff involved!):
