    Hi @gerardo1,

Hope you are doing good today

In Snapshot plugin, you must keep at least one bakcup archive to make it work. Because its designed to work this way. If there is an option to not keep any backup then it will not store any backup archives at all. It means, no backups and no need of Snapshot plugin at the end

Also, please keep in mind that this setting is only for local archives stored in your/site/wp-content/uploads/snapshots folder.

If you are using any other destination like SFTP or Dropbox then you have to manage that yourself.

Hope that helps! Feel free to post a reply if you need further assistance

The issue is security. Once the program finishes perform the backup , FTP transfers to another server , so you do not need to keep a copy on the local server , which ultimately is not good for security because a malicious user who could find the public folder where backups are stored , you may have access to copying an entire web .
It would be very useful to the possibility of eliminating the backup file on the local server automatically when the option to transfer to another server is used.

Yes, you are right and since it can be a good addition to the plugin so I am moving it to features and feedback section to be considered for development. More +1's it will get from other members of community more chances of this request to be considered for development.

Take care and have a nice day
