how to deal with suspicious code in plugins in defender

When defender finds suspicious code in a plugin, is it best to just let it delete the plugin and reinstall the plugin?

    Hello cornelius_butler,

Hope you are doing good today

Once Defender will find some suspicious code, it will give you option to fix this issue. One you can restore the file with original/unmodified (will depend upon plugins though) or simply delete the file, download it again from plugins site and add there.

Alternatively, yes you can also delete the whole plugin and just install it again.

Hope that helps! Feel free to post a reply if you need further assistance
