How to extend Automessage beyong 30 days?

Hi there,

Automessage is a great little plugin. We've got a series of messages to send out to our subscribers.

However, we need a time frame bigger than 30 days!

Surely, there must be a way to extend the emails longer than this. A year time frame makes way more sense.

How to do this?

Great! This does the trick. Thank you Predrag.

While, we're at it, we are having another little issue with Automessage. We want to insert the first name of the subsriber, drawn from the database, into the message.

    i.e. " Hi there Predrag,"

However, the string for the user's first name is not listed on the right hand side. We've guessed, and have inserted "Hi there %firstname%,"

But... this doesn't work. The emails arrives with "firstname" in it.

What should we be putting instead?

    Hi Russell,

    Glad to hear that

As for the other question, I'm afraid that there's no %firstname% placeholder included in Automessage, when you add new message you can see available placeholders on right side.

This is what you can use:

What you could use is either %username% to display their username or you can %usernicename% which will show name selected for "Display name publicly as" option in user profile.

    Best regards,
